PARIAH: Kennedy family condemns RFK Jr. for his anti-semitic rants

The Kennedy family has publicly denounced recent comments made by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. regarding the origins of the coronavirus which have roots in racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

RFK Jr. appeared at a dinner in Manhattan on Saturday night where his comments were first shared by The New York Postin an article that included a video that showed him speaking about bioweapons and “ethnically targeted microbes.”

Kennedy, who’s been repeatedly criticized for pushing conspiracy theories, including his anti-vaccine lies, also claimed that “Covid-19 attacks certain races disproportionately,”

In a statement released Monday by the non-profit group Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, one of RFK Jr.’s sisters spoke on behalf of her famously Democratic family.

“I strongly condemn my brother’s deplorable and untruthful remarks last week about Covid being engineered for ethnic targeting,” group president Kerry Kennedy said in the statement.

“His statements do not represent what I believe or what Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights stand for, with our 50+-year track record of protecting rights and standing against racism and all forms of discrimination.”

In the video, which was circulated widely on Twitter, Qennedy’s Qrazy QAnonsense can be clearly heard despite his vocal cord damage and the ambient noise.

“COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese,” Kennedy says, “We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted that or not.”

An overwhelming portion of American Jews are Ashkenazi Jews, just like your intrepid writer here who didn’t get COVID-19 because I simply followed the protocols.

Also, there’s no way for a virus to choose which warm human host it nestles inside, no matter what insanity anyone sharts all over what used to be our political norms.

Another Kennedy family member, former Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA) also weighed in on Monday, tweeting that he condemns his uncle’s remarks.

No real Democrats will ever claim RFK Jr., which we’ll keep reminding him and everyone else about every chance we get.

My uncle’s comments were hurtful and wrong. I unequivocally condemn what he said.
